Andrés Nader Adum

Head of IT who ships product

I run technology, build the product and read the data. Over fifteen years taking platforms from concept to production, today with coding agents as the development engine.

Location
Guayaquil, Ecuador

Head of IT at BOPELUAL S.A. (Auto Club, Carros Ya!, GB Autos), leading digital transformation, information security and process automation. The role did not exist at the company: I identified the gap, made the case and stepped down from the marketing lead role to take it.

In parallel I run Ameizin, my independent practice: 22 WordPress sites under active maintenance and 14 applications in production, with databases, continuous deployment and sustained uptime.

I build end to end —architecture, data model, user experience and delivery— and the code is AI-generated under my direction using Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor. I do not write backend by hand; I specify it, direct it and answer for the result in production. It is the same method I have shipped with since 2010, only the tool changed.

Capabilities

Four fronts I hold at once

These are not separate specialties: they feed each other. IT leadership defines what is needed, building delivers it, data says whether it worked, and R&D finds the next route.

01

IT leadership and digital transformation

Owning the technology function at a multi-brand vehicle financing group: information security, process automation, vendor management and AI adoption across daily operations.

  • Created and lead the IT function, proposed on my own initiative
  • Information security and access governance
  • Automation of internal processes and reporting
  • Coordination of mixed teams: developers, external agency and vendors
02

AI-assisted product building

From idea to deployed system. I define architecture and data model, design the experience in Figma and direct coding agents until the product is in production and maintained.

  • Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor as the development engine
  • Three-tier architecture: web, admin panel and API on Postgres
  • Git workflows, separated development and production environments, continuous deployment
  • Delivered stacks: Next.js, Node, React, WordPress and LearnDash
03

Operational business intelligence

Data used to decide, not to file away. I model the information, unify scattered sources and build the reporting the business actually consults.

  • Data modelling and information architecture
  • React reporting dashboards on PostgreSQL
  • Unifying Meta Ads and website leads into a purpose-built CRM
  • CRM/ERP operations, sales funnel and multi-brand price synchronisation
  • A/B testing and paid campaign analytics

Honest scope: I work with data modelling, assisted SQL and custom dashboards. I do not claim certification or professional experience in Power BI, Tableau or enterprise data warehouses.

04

R&D, training and AI adoption

I explore tools before they become obvious, then teach others to use them. It is the habit that took me from game engines to no-code builders and from there to coding agents.

  • Modular corporate AI training programmes delivered to three companies
  • Seven Claude skills built and packaged for my own and client use
  • Prototyping and Design Thinking applied since my Master's in Digital Communication
  • 14 years teaching educational and inclusive video game development at university level
Experience

Professional experience

External consultant

BOPELUAL S.A.
May 2021 — Present Guayaquil, Ecuador · Services contract Brands: Auto Club · GB Autos

Five years of continuous engagement under a services contract, advising on and running technology and marketing for the company and its brands. The scope widened from marketing coordination to head of IT.

  1. Head of IT Mar 2025 — Present
  2. Head of Marketing May 2024 — Mar 2025
  3. Marketing Coordinator May 2021 — May 2024
  • I proposed creating the IT lead role, which did not exist at the company, and stepped down from the marketing lead role to take it.
  • I lead digital transformation, information security and process automation, and drive AI adoption across internal operations.
  • Designed the Talent Management payroll system from scratch — later extended to generate the bank TXT files for payroll disbursement — and orchestrated the development of a new ERP with an external developer.
  • Defined the architecture and coordinated the build of a family of internal systems: the Auto Club quoting tool, digital receipts, meeting-room booking, staff offboarding, equipment transfers and merchandise stock, each shipped in about a month.
  • Trained 50+ people on AI tools and 20+ on Google Workspace, whose environment I administer directly, and replaced the company's reliance on free Gmail accounts with professionally administered mail.
  • Directed marketing strategy and performance, with one direct report and coordination of an external agency and other vendors.
  • Ran Auto Club's CRM/ERP and sales funnel, plus Shopify ecommerce and A/B-tested campaigns.
  • Joined reporting to the Marketing Director and in 2023 was designated lead coordinator of the function.
  • The engagement continued through the incorporation of Carros Ya! as a standalone company, originally a BOPELUAL brand.

Founder and delivery lead

Ameizin
May 2015 — Present Guayaquil, Ecuador · Independent practice

Agency-scale infrastructure operated by one person: 22 sites under maintenance and 14 applications in production.

  • A portfolio of 11 clients with bespoke systems in production, plus two own products and one internal tool.
  • Architecture, data model, UX and delivery are mine; the code is generated by AI agents I direct.
  • Own products: Super Cotizador and a URL shortener with real-time analytics, both live.
  • Clients across international cooperation, banking, healthcare, legal, tourism and retail.

Corporate AI Trainer

BOPELUAL S.A. · Auto Club / GB Autos
2024 — 2025 Guayaquil, Ecuador Vehicle financing

Designed and delivered modular AI adoption programmes for non-technical teams.

  • Modules: effective prompting, image and video generation, lightweight automation with Google Workspace, professional writing and assisted analysis.
  • Curriculum designed by role and by the team's digital maturity level.

Lecturer and mentor

Universidad Casa Grande
2012 — Present Guayaquil, Ecuador

Digital photography, communication and educational, inclusive video game development.

  • Coordination of capstone projects, guiding teams from concept to a working product.
  • Yummy (2017): I proposed the thesis topic and coordinated the project through to shipping on Android and iOS.
  • Guaeyitas: coordination of an educational video game built in Unity.

Webmaster and communications analyst

ESPOL
Apr 2019 — Dec 2019 Guayaquil, Ecuador

Institutional web governance, brand rollout and administrator training.

Webmaster and digital media manager

Universidad Casa Grande
Apr 2012 — Mar 2019 Guayaquil, Ecuador

The university's server and WordPress infrastructure, plus social, campaigns and lead capture.

  • Administration of the institutional server and the site ecosystem.
  • Audiovisual production, digital branding and paid campaigns.

Multimedia designer

Geeks Ecuador
Nov 2009 — Sep 2011 Guayaquil, Ecuador

2D/3D animation, campaign concept and end-to-end development of an advergame for Créditos Económicos.

  • El Comeprecios: a 3D advergame built in Blender Game Engine over nearly ten months. Responsible for script, level design, game logic, graphics and roughly 70% of modelling and texturing.
  • Silver Effie, Internet category (Effie Awards Ecuador 2011) for the Ciudad del Río web project for Nobis: a project I led in conjunction with Geeks.
  • Modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering in Cinema 4D, Blender and V-Ray.

NoteThe BOPELUAL S.A. engagement is a services contract, not employment. The three titles are successive within that single relationship: an external contractor whose scope widened over five years, which is account retention rather than tenure.

Projects

Systems and platforms delivered

A selection from a wider portfolio. All are or were in production with real users.

ERP Difortuna

In production
ERP · Inventory · B2B

Inventory and operations ERP with a B2B portal for an import company, deployed and maintained in production.

Two services in production: the inventory engine and the wholesale customer portal. I defined the data model and the architecture and directed the build with coding agents. It is the project closest to running a retail business with warehousing and a wholesale channel.

COMPROVIG

Apr — Jun 2026
Next.js · Corporate site

Corporate site for an ISO 9001-certified private security company, from concept to production in three months.

Next.js with Turbopack and static export. I built in my own environment and deployed production to the client's hosting, then shut the development environment down. Deployment hygiene and cost control, not just delivery.

Qingling

In production
Three-tier architecture

Platform with separate public site, admin panel and API on PostgreSQL.

The project that best shows the deliverable is genuinely full-stack: three independent services plus a database, each with its own deployment cycle. The tier separation was an architectural decision taken up front, not an accident of growth.

CRM Carros Ya

In production
CRM · Data · Meta Ads

In-house CRM that unifies leads arriving from Meta Ads and the website into a single base.

Previously leads lived scattered across the agency inbox, the site form and the sales team's spreadsheets. The system normalises them into a single model, with in-house email notification and traceability by source. Deployed on Railway from a private repository.

Payroll and HR — BOPELUAL

In production
Internal system · Compliance

Payroll and HR system with automatic calculation of IESS employer obligations.

Payroll runs, employee records and leave and time-off requests for the HR department, with automatic generation of the bank TXT files for payroll disbursement. The hard part was not the software but modelling Ecuadorian labour regulation correctly; that is where business judgement matters more than code.

Un Banco Para Crecer

2020 — Present
LMS · React dashboard

Banco de Machala's training ecosystem, with a React reporting dashboard on PostgreSQL.

An educational platform built on LearnDash with purpose-built security mechanisms, plus a dashboard that turns LMS activity into progress and compliance indicators. It is the clearest business intelligence case in the portfolio: the data existed, the reading was missing.

elbancoparacrecer.com ↗

Human Rights Classroom

2021 — 2024
International cooperation · LMS

Site and learning platform for COOPI, on a UNICEF-funded programme.

WordPress with LearnDash for the Italian humanitarian NGO COOPI, which works in Ecuador on child and adolescent protection in human mobility contexts. Free, open courses on human mobility and the prevention of child abuse, aimed at caregivers. UNICEF is the programme's funding partner, not the client.

Proyecto La Fuente

2021 — 2025
LMS · EU-funded

LMS for the Daule river basin protection programme, engaged through Universidad Casa Grande.

A programme funded by the European Union with just over a million dollars, implemented by a consortium of CIIFEN, Fondagua, the Municipality of Guayaquil and Universidad Casa Grande. The platform hosted free courses for local government officials and for the press. The Daule river supplies water to roughly 25% of the country.

Super Cotizador

In production
Own product · Ameizin

Vehicle quoting system built entirely with coding agents, live and in use.

Three services in production. It is the most direct demonstration of the method: a complete product, from data model to interface, without writing the backend by hand. The repository is public.

Ecommerce · Catalogue

Watch retail store with a purpose-built catalogue consolidation tool feeding WooCommerce.

The real problem was not the storefront but the catalogue: price lists in spreadsheets that had to be reconciled and loaded without breaking published inventory. I built the merge and export tool instead of doing it by hand every month.

Marcillo App

2014
Architecture · Award

A Yelp-style app connecting Miraflores neighbourhood businesses with the university community. Recognised as an innovative project.

Shipped natively on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. I defined the data model and built the no-code frontend in AppMachine, coordinated the team to populate the business catalogue and contracted an external developer for the service connecting the database to the app. Deployed on the university's own infrastructure, which I administered as webmaster, with authorisation from leadership. Twelve years on, it is the same method I use today.
